How to use this helper

  1. Start from the recipient’s written document list. Note every document named and whether it must be apostilled or translated.
  2. Choose the company certificate: none, standard (£79 ex VAT, official fee £22) or express (£129, official £65, before 11am for same working-day dispatch).
  3. Tick certified incorporation and/or certified articles (£49 ex VAT each, official £22 each) if the list asks for formation proof or the constitution.
  4. Optionally pick a destination for checklist notes. It adds no fee; apostille stays quote-only.
  5. Read the named pack (£249, £279 or £299) or à-la-carte total, then use Copy link to this build or Copy summary to share it, and order.

How pack recommendations work

  • Lean pack £249 — standard COGS + certified incorporation + certified articles (official CH £66).
  • Typical pack £279 — same three standard products; the usual buy-now checkout for collation, scan and tracked send-on.
  • Express-assisted pack £299 — express COGS + standard incorporation + articles (official CH £109).
  • À-la-carte — any other mix shows line totals with soft links to order or the pack money page.

Packs and à-la-carte compared

UKCOGS prices are ex VAT and include the official Companies House fee, which is itemised so you can see what goes to the registrar. Official fees were checked on GOV.UK the week of 15 October 2026. Apostille and embassy work is never added to a buy-now price.

Ordered as three separate line items, the standard documents total £177 ex VAT. The packs cost more because they handle the three as one matched set: one invoice, collation, a scan and one tracked envelope. If the recipient only wants one or two documents, do not buy the pack. Full details are on the company documents pack page, and every product is available at secure checkout.

Common situations and suggested toggles

If the list also says “apostilled” or “legalised”, that stage is quoted separately. The FCDO charges per document (paper £45, e-Apostille £35), so apostilling all three pack documents carries £135 in paper fees or £105 as e-Apostilles before any agent fee. See multiple documents and one apostille and request an apostille quote.

Share a build

Every build is written into the page address, so a copied link opens the same toggles. Parameters: cogs (none, standard or express), incorp=1, articles=1 and dest (uae, portugal, spain, united-states, australia, singapore, france or germany). For example, ?cogs=express&incorp=1&articles=1&dest=uae opens the express-assisted pack with UAE notes. Copy summary gives plain text with line items, total, official fees and the link.

Frequently asked questions

What does this pack builder estimate?

UKCOGS buy-now prices (ex VAT) for a Certificate of Good Standing route, certified Certificate of Incorporation and certified articles — alone or together. When your toggles match a published pack, we recommend the named SKU (£249 lean, £279 typical, or £299 express-assisted). Otherwise you see an à-la-carte total. Official Companies House fees are shown separately.

What is in the company documents pack?

Three official Companies House products on one invoice: the company certificate (Certificate of Good Standing route, summary statement where eligible), a certified Certificate of Incorporation, and a certified copy of the articles of association. Destination notes on this tool are informational links only — not a fourth priced document.

How do the £249, £279 and £299 packs differ?

£249 is the lean standard-dispatch pack (three standard CH products). £279 is the typical pack most buyers take — same three products with collation, scan and tracked send-on. £299 is express-assisted: express company certificate (official CH £65) plus standard certified incorporation and articles (official £22 each), so official CH fees total £109. Apostille is never inside these figures.

What are the official Companies House fees this week?

Confirm live on GOV.UK. As of the week of 15 October 2026: company certificate £22 standard / £65 express (before 11am for same working-day dispatch where offered); Certificate of Incorporation £22 / £65 same day; certified copy of a document (e.g. articles) £22 / £65 same day. A standard three-document set therefore carries £66 in official CH fees; the express-assisted pack carries £109.

Does destination notes add a fee?

No. Choosing UAE, Portugal, Spain, US, Australia, Singapore, France or Germany only links you to that destination page for checklist context. Legalisation (apostille / embassy / translation) stays quote-only via /quote/ — never buy-now on this tool.

Should I check filings before I order a pack?

Yes. Overdue accounts or confirmation statement can block the summary statement on the company certificate even if incorporation and articles still certify. Use the free filings checker or the live Companies House register before you pay.

Is apostille included in the pack price?

No. FCDO paper apostille (£45) and e-Apostille (£35) are official fees to confirm on GOV.UK. Apostille, embassy and translation remain quote-only until a fulfilment route is confirmed.

Is UKCOGS Companies House or the FCDO?

No. UKCOGS is a private agent operated by Pasecom Group Ltd (17139327). We order official documents from Companies House; we do not issue certificates, amend the register, or act as Companies House, the FCDO or GOV.UK. This tool is not legal, visa, immigration or bank-account advice.

Is the pack cheaper than ordering the three documents separately?

No. As separate line items the three standard documents total £177 ex VAT (£79 + £49 + £49). The named packs (£249–£299) cost more because they handle the documents as one matched set: one invoice, collation, a scan and tracked send-on to you or your lawyer. If you only need one or two documents, order them individually.

Can I share a pack build?

Yes. The build is written into the page address, for example ?cogs=standard&incorp=1&articles=1&dest=uae. Use “Copy link to this build” to send the same toggles to someone else, or “Copy summary” to paste the line items, UKCOGS total and official Companies House fees into an email.

Ready to order the set?

Named packs £249–£299 ex VAT. Official CH fees itemised. Apostille and embassy stay quote-only.
