Short answer: The fastest way to reach UKCOGS is the form below or email to pete@pasecom.co.uk. We reply by email, usually within one working day. To buy a Certificate of Good Standing (£79 standard / £129 express ex VAT) or other Companies House documents, use the order page. For apostille, embassy or translation work, use the quote form, because those services are quote-only.

Which route to use

  • Ready to buy a Companies House document? Go straight to the order page. The Certificate of Good Standing, certified Certificate of Incorporation, certified articles, the company documents pack and the £15 filings check can all be ordered there.
  • Need an apostille, e-Apostille, embassy legalisation or translation? Use the quote form. These are quote-only. We confirm the route and that we can fulfil it before any legalisation payment.
  • A question about an existing order? Use the form above or email us, and include your order reference and the company number so we can find it quickly. You can also check progress on the tracking page.
  • Not sure what you need? Try the free Which document? tool, read the FAQ, or send us the recipient’s list and we will point you to the right product.

What to include in your message

A clear first message saves a round of emails. Please tell us:

  • the company name and Companies House number;
  • what the receiving organisation has asked for, ideally pasted word for word from their email or checklist;
  • the destination country, if the documents are going abroad;
  • your deadline, and whether the recipient accepts scans, originals or an e-Apostille;
  • the delivery address for paper documents.

Please do not send passport scans, bank details or other sensitive personal documents through the contact form. We do not need them to order Companies House documents.

Response times

We aim to answer during UK working hours, usually within one working day. Companies House and FCDO timescales are separate from ours. Standard Companies House certificates aim for dispatch within about 10 working days, and express certificates follow the before-11am rules. If your deadline is close, say so in the first line of your message.

Who you are contacting

UKCOGS is a trading name of Pasecom Group Ltd, company number 17139327, registered office 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, ICO registration ZC117546. We are a private document agent. We are not Companies House, the FCDO or GOV.UK, and we cannot change entries on the public register. Questions about filing, correcting the register or Companies House accounts should go to Companies House directly. We do not give legal, visa, immigration or bank-account advice.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong with an order, email pete@pasecom.co.uk with “Complaint” in the subject line and your order reference. See our complaints page for more.

Documents we can obtain for you

Our buy-now catalogue covers official Companies House documents for UK-registered companies:

  • Certificate of Good Standing. This is the Companies House company certificate, £79 standard or £129 express ex VAT, with the official fee of £22 or £65 shown separately.
  • Certified Certificate of Incorporation (£49 ex VAT), often requested with the good standing certificate.
  • Certified copy of the articles of association (£49 ex VAT), for recipients who want the company’s constitution.
  • Company documents pack, which bundles the documents most often asked for by banks and overseas counsel.
  • Filings check (£15 ex VAT), a sensible first step if the company’s accounts or confirmation statement may be late.

We do not handle personal documents such as birth or marriage certificates, degree certificates or criminal record checks, and we do not file documents at Companies House on your behalf.

Ordering on behalf of a client

Accountants, formation agents and overseas lawyers often order for a client company. That is fine, because Companies House documents for any UK company can be requested. Tell us in your message who the end recipient is and where the paper should be delivered. If you expect to order regularly, mention it, so we can keep your contact and delivery details on file and make repeat orders quicker.

If your deadline is very close

Choose the express Certificate of Good Standing on the order page. Companies House’s express service is processed the same working day for requests received before 11am, where offered. We scan and email the certificate as soon as it arrives and then send the paper on. If an apostille is also needed, mention the deadline in your quote request, and we will tell you honestly whether the FCDO’s current timescales make it achievable before you commit to anything.

Common questions we can answer quickly

Many messages we receive are variations on a few themes. Here is a summary of each. Which document does the bank actually want? Usually the Certificate of Good Standing, but send us the wording and we will match it to a product. Can the certificate say the company is in good standing if accounts are late? The wording comes from the Companies House register, so the filings check is the honest first step. Is a scan enough? Some recipients accept the scan we email, and others need the paper original or an apostille, so ask them. Can you speed up the FCDO? No. We can only quote current published timescales and choose the faster e-Apostille route where the recipient accepts it.
